May 14, 1997|MARLA MATZER

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment announced Tuesday that President Robert DeLellis is departing after 13 years with the company. DeLellis said he will devote himself to D&B New Ventures/D&B New Concepts, a retail and consulting venture he co-founded with Peter Blaner, executive vice president of West Coast Entertainment, a Philadelphia-based video retail chain. DeLellis joined CBS/Fox Video in New York in 1984. Bill Mechanic, chairman of Fox Filmed Entertainment, praised DeLellis' role in building the video division into a "billion-dollar powerhouse." No successor has been named.
