The median sales price for all Southern California homes--resale, new and condominiums--rose 3.1%, to $165,000, in April from the same month last year, according to Acxicom/DataQuick, a real estate research firm. Sales in the six-county area--Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura--increased 3.4% to 20,403 properties. Ventura County reported the largest year-over-year price increase, with the median price rising 6.8% to $203,000. But the median price in Riverside fell 0.8% to $128,000. The median sales price in Los Angeles County rose 5% to $169,000.
