Simi Valley-based Sunquest Holdings said it has purchased San Jose-based tour operator SunTrips for $20 million in cash. The acquisition makes Sunquest, a subsidiary of Airtours, the largest leisure travel company in the West. . . . Joseph Luevanos has resigned as chief financial officer of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and will become CFO of Bentley Health Care Inc., the company created by former Salick Health Care CEO Bernard Salick. . . . San Jose-based Diamond Multimedia Systems Inc. warned of a bigger-than-expected second-quarter loss, which it blamed on low prices and slowing demand for its older multimedia computer products as it introduces new ones.
