Here are some upcoming activities that dads and others can share with kids.


* Fathers and families are invited to Nursery Nature Walks with journeys through parklands in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Reservations are required. Admission is $5 per family. (310) 364-3591.


* PAGES) books for children and young adults at 19399 Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana, presents Now I Am Two storytimes) for ages 2 and 3, combined with songs to teach children good listening and participation skills in a group setting. Storytimes is held the first and third Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. (818) 342-6657.


* Totems and Tales, a collection of Native American nature myths from the Seneca, Cherokee, Ojibwa and Zuni tribes, is presented at 3 p.m. by ACT!Vated Storytellers, using dramatization, music, dance, slapstick, American Sign Language and household object props. * Printmakings, part of the free Family Art Workshops series, will take place at Long Beach Museum of Arts at 2 p.m. in the museum's Education Gallery. Participation is limited. 2300 E. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach. (562) 439-2119.


* The Young Musician Symphony Orchestra salutes American composers in a concert at the Hollywood Bowl at 7:30 p.m., with tunes from Disney movies and music by Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland and others. Concludes with fireworks. Tickets: $5 to $40. Information: (213) 480-3232.


* Isn't S/He a Doll? Ritual and Play in African Sculpture exhibit will be held at the UCLA Fowler Museum through Aug. 24 and explores 120 dolls from 19 African countries. Museum hours are noon to 8 p.m. Admission $5 for adults; $3 for Seniors, non-UCLA students, UCLA faculty / staff and Alumni Assn.; $1 for UCLA students; free to everyone on Thursdays. * A display of animation cels from the Peanuts TV specials, examples of the comic strips they are based on and the animated specials themselves will be shown at the Museum of Television and Radio, 465 N. Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills. Museum hours are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and until 9 p.m. Thursday. Admission is $6 adults, $3 children under 13. (310) 786-1025.


* More than 350 artists from around the world will create murals on pavement at the Chalk It Up Street Painting Festival at Universal CityWalk June 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Kids can make their own chalk art (materials will be provided). * Modern dancers with Louise Reichlin will perform at Make It Art Family Day at 12:30 p.m. at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, 5905 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles. Afterward, make crafts from recycled materials from your home. Geared to children 5 to 12. Festivities included in museum admission of $6, adults; $1, children; ages 5 and younger free.
