* Update--The Dodgers have lost two of three interleague games, including Saturday's 9-8 defeat against the Mariners. Eric Karros, who hit two home runs Saturday, has three in his last two games. Valdes has lost as many games in 13 starts as he did in 33 starts last season. He has given up only one home run in his last 53 2/3 innings and only three home runs all season. Valdes has given up 20 earned runs in his last 11 starts, while the Dodgers have scored only 27 runs. The Mariners, who hit four home runs in Saturday's game, have 20 homers in their last 10 wins and four home runs in their last five losses. They have hit 62 home runs in their last 35 games. The Mariners have won 10 of their last 12 games.
