A tequila evening at the new El Cholo begins with a discussion of premium tequilas led by Bob Emmons, author of "The Book of Tequila." A tasting of several tequilas making their Southern California debuts, including Don Julio, will follow. The evening concludes with a dinner of Mexican specialties, such as shrimp ceviche tostaditas, green corn tamales and carne asada, served with tequila cocktails.
