LEONA VALLEY — A brush fire scorched about 100 acres near Elizabeth Lake and Godde Hill roads Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
No injuries or property damage were reported, said Dilbert Garcia, a Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesman.
Garcia said about 100 county firefighters battled the blaze in western unincorporated Los Angeles County. Four water-dropping helicopters were deployed to help firefighters on the ground bring the blaze under control, he said.
