An "Art Fair, Open House Performance and Celebration," hosted by Deon Richmond ("The Cosby Show"), will take place at the First Steps to Learning Christian Academy in Inglewood on Aug. 17 from 1 to 5 p.m.
The event, intended to introduce the community to the academy's new arts curriculum for its preschoolers and kindergartners, will include live music, poetry, dance and visual art by professional artists and performances by the academy's dance troupe, choir and drama team.
