Getty Center Visitors Urged to Make Parking Reservations
Visitors who drive to the Getty Center are encouraged to make parking reservations to ensure their admittance to the center’s parking structure, museum officials said.
The Getty Center has attracted large crowds during the holiday season and the center has parking for only 1,200 cars.
This week, the Los Angeles City Council imposed a 2-hour parking restriction in neighborhoods surrounding the museum (residents are exempted). Officials urged visitors to use public transit if the parking lots are full.
MTA Bus 561 and Santa Monica Bus 14 stop at the Getty Center tramway. Parking reservations at the Getty Center can be made by calling (310) 440-7300.
