Shroud of Turin to Be Lecture Topic

Susan Trumbore, a professor at UC Irvine, will speak on "The Carbon Dating of the Shroud of Turin" during the lecture meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 6 Hillgate, Irvine. Also, Charlotte Prather, director of religious education at the church, will speak on "The Resurrection of Jesus and the Value of Relics." (714) 854-1000.

Claremont School of Theology Associate Dean Cornish Rogers will discuss "The World Council of Churches" during the Adult Forum from 9:35 to 10:25 a.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church of Laguna Hills in the Wesley Room.
