Florida fullback Terry Jackson underwent surgery to repair a torn knee ligament he suffered during last week's 55-28 victory over Kentucky. Jackson, the most versatile player for the top-ranked Gators, is out for the remainder of the season after suffering a full tear of an anterior cruciate ligament.
Additionally, defensive tackle Gerard Warren had surgery for cartilage injury in his right knee. Warren, a freshman, was in the Gators' second rotation of linemen. A team doctor said Warren could return to practice in a month.
