Reserve cornerback Anton Hector has been dismissed from the Texas football team, Coach John Mackovic said Friday.
Hector, a 6-1, 180-pound sophomore from Esperanza High in Anaheim, was dismissed for violations of team rules. He had played in five games and posted 10 tackles this season.
