Brunell Keeps Progressing

Jacksonville Jaguar quarterback Mark Brunell, initially feared lost for the season when he suffered torn knee ligaments Aug. 9, might return in time for a Monday night game against Pittsburgh in two weeks.

The Denver Broncos ended offensive tackle Gary Zimmerman's short retirement, adding him to the roster and saying he might be able to play half of Sunday's game against St. Louis.

The Cincinnati Bengals signed free-agent cornerback Tito Paul and released cornerback Roger Jones.
