Palisades 34, Van Nuys 19--Carlos Flores, making his first start at quarterback, completed 14 of 21 pass attempts for 350 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Dolphins at Van Nuys.

The Wolves, who reached the 3-A Division title game last year, kept it close behind the all-around play of running back Alex Aguilar. He finished with 127 yards rushing in 10 carries including a six-yard touchdown, and caught six passes for 74 yards.

Quarterback Bobby Hernandez completed nine of 20 pass attempts for 124 yards, but had two passes intercepted. Van Nuys also lost two fumbles.

The Wolves finished with 363 yards total offense, 239 on the ground.

Palisades had 453 yards total offense. Palisades wide receiver Ryan Hilst had nine receptions for 165 yards, including one touchdown.
