Capistrano Valley 17, Irvine 1--Leigh Ann Merryman swept her singles sets, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0, and Jenny Bailey swept, 6-1, 6-1, 6-0, for Capistrano Valley (2-0), ranked fifth in Division I.

Edison 10, Long Beach Wilson 8--Cerissa Drumm swept her singles sets, 6-1, 6-2, 6-0, for Edison (1-1).
