Saying that Oxnard needs to be more "youth friendly," City Councilman Bedford Pinkard has requested that the city consider building a skateboard park.
Skateboarders in Oxnard have too little room for play, Pinkard said at Tuesday night's City Council meeting.
"I would ask that we continue to be youth friendly in Oxnard," he said. "We lost some of that along the line."
