Trevaughn Gory gained 115 yards in 16 carries and Donye Tucker added 105 yards in 10 carries as the Cougars (3-0) beat Compton (1-2) at Crenshaw.


Culver City: 26

Hamilton: 6

Alex Ngaue scored three touchdowns and Curtis Nettles rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown to lead the Centaurs (3-0) over the Yankees (0-3) at Culver City.




Westchester: 16

Washington: 6

Dunne Bowden gained 108 yards and Denard Barton and Terrell Golden scored touchdowns as the Comets (3-0) beat the Generals (0-3) at Washington.


Locke: 28

Huntington Park: 20

Raykhal Wilson scored on a 12-yard run in the fourth overtime and Locke (1-2) stopped Huntington Park (0-3) on four plays for the victory at Locke.


Narbonne: 55

Hollywood: 25

David Crockett rushed for 164 yards and six touchdowns and Billy Walker also rushed for 164 yards as Narbonne (1-2) beat the Sheiks (0-3) at Hollywood.


Fremont: 43

Jefferson: 9

The Pathfinders (3-0) won big as senior running back James Tilghman scored four touchdowns in the victory over the Democrats (1-2) at Fremont.


Palisades: 26

Marshall: 6

Carlos Flores completed 25 of 31 passes for 308 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Dolphins (3-0) over the Barristers (1-2) at Palisades.


Bell: 20

University: 15

Chris Acevedo gained 89 yards in 22 carries and scored a touchdown to lead the Eagles (2-1) over the Warriors (0-3) at Bell.


South Gate: 30

Roosevelt: 12

Senior linebacker Robert Holquin intercepted two passes for South Gate (3-0) in the victory over the Roughriders (1-2) at South Gate.




Mater Dei: 24

Hawthorne: 0

Senior running back Mike McNair gained 165 yards and scored two touchdowns for the Monarchs (3-0) in the victory over the Cougars at Hawthorne.


Dominguez: 37

Centennial: 2

Jason Thomas connected with David Relf on three touchdown pass plays and Thomas also rushed for a score to lead the Dons (3-0) at Centennial.


Bishop Amat: 34

Dana Hills: 18

Mike Wagner rushed for 228 yards and three touchdowns as the Lancers (3-0) stayed unbeaten with the victory at Dana Hills.


Loyola: 38

Saugus: 7

Stephen Faulk rushed for 159 yards as the Cubs (3-0) defeated Saugus at Pierce College.


San Bernardino: 9

Jurupa Valley: 7

J.R. Johnson kicked a 33-yard field goal with 11 seconds left to give San Bernar dino (3-0) the victory over the Jaguars (2-1) at Rubidoux High.
