Brothers form a crowd on 'Boy Meets World'; more myth-building fun as Xena, Hercules return

Spaceman Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen) and Cowboy Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) battle for the affection of a boy in "Toy Story" (ABC, Sunday at 7 p.m.). The hit movie airs as the return premiere of "The Wonderful World of Disney" franchise. Toys come alive in this animated modern classic in which Woody, a pull-string cowboy doll and the leader of the other toys, is threatened by the arrival of the flashy Buzz. Other voices featured are: Don Rickles (Mr. Potato Head), Annie Potts (Bo Beep) and John Ratzenberger (Hamm the Pig). For the family.

In the season premiere of "Boy Meets World" (ABC, Friday at 8:30 p.m.), Cory is unhappy that he has to give up his bedroom when his older brother Eric moves back home from college. Meanwhile, Shawn's half-brother, Jack, shows up and the brothers have to find a way to cope with their feelings. For ages 7 to 13.

A gregarious dog and his manic rabbit partner are called in to investigate the disappearance of refrigerator repairmen in "Sam & Max" (Fox, Saturday at 9:30 a.m.). Risking life and limb without medical coverage, Sam and Max face danger and frozen TV dinners. For ages 8 to 14.

Players take wild trips around a life-sized game board trying to survive the trauma and intrigue of teenage life in "Peer Pressure" (KCAL, Saturday at 12:30 p.m.). The hosts are Nick Spano and Valarie Miller. On Saturday's show, three contestants advance around the board by predicting how the Peer Group will respond to dilemmas such as, "Your steady girlfriend moved to another state and, after a month, your cute chemistry partner asks you out. Do you go?" For ages 10-16.

In the season premiere of "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys," Hercules (Kevin Sorbo) and Autolycus (Bruce Campbell) climb a giant beanstalk to clouds where they chase after Harpies and rescue the kidnapped Dianna (KTLA, Saturday at 8 p.m.). For ages 10 and up.

In another season premiere, the Furies persecute Xena (Lucy Lawless) for not avenging the death of her father on "Xena: Warrior Princess" (KTLA, Saturday at 9 p.m.). For ages 10 and up.
