September 30, 1997

Apria Healthcare Group Inc. said Steven T. Plochocki has quit as president and chief operating officer amid the Costa Mesa-based home-health-care company's struggle to boost its flagging returns and find a buyer. Apria said Plochocki resigned to pursue other interests. Chairman and CEO Jeremy M. Jones will assume his duties until a successor is named.
