Cal State Fullerton scored six runs in the first inning and went on to beat San Diego, 10-1, Wednesday night in a nonconference baseball game at Titan Field.
Third baseman Ryan Moore provided the punch for the Titans (29-12) with a triple, home run and two runs batted in. Mike Garner, making his first start of the year, pitched three innings to win via the designated-start rule. Four Titan relievers limited the Toreros (23-22) to one hit the rest of the game.
