Fulfilling an earlier prediction, International Remote Imaging Systems reported a loss of $211,090, or 3 cents per diluted share, for the second quarter of 1998, compared with earnings of $17,330 in the year-ago period.
For the three months that ended June 30, net revenues for the Chatsworth-based maker of in vitro imaging systems increased to $6.7 million, up $103,000 from the same period last year.
