Syzygy Gets Contract

ORANGE COUNTY BRIEFLY

August 26, 1998|P.J. Huffstutter

Syzygy Network Solutions, an Orange-based maker of custom cabling and network services for corporations, said Tuesday it has received a contract to provide services for Irvine-based Bax Global, a provider of transportation services. Financial terms were not disclosed.

In an effort to make Bax's in-house communications system more efficient, Syzygy plans to create a new cabling system for the freight firm's voice and data network at its facility near Los Angeles International Airport. Syzygy will also bolster the company's existing networking lines and build and install a series of devices to house the wires winding through Bax's 105,000-square-foot facility.
