Simi Valley's only repository for local lore, the Strathearn Historical Park and Museum, is seeking more volunteers so it can extend its hours.
Museum officials are looking for residents to lead tours through the park's historical treasures.
Situated off Strathearn Place near the K mart shopping center, the historical park and museum include old buildings, such as the old Strathearn house and the El Rancho Simi adobe where some of the area's first residents lived.
