Arboretum's Annual Orchid Sale Coming

The UC Irvine Arboretum will sponsor its annual spring orchid sale Feb. 15.

The event, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature miniature cymbidiums from the arboretum's premium collection, epidendrums and numerous other spring-flowering orchids. Lectures on the care of orchids will be offered throughout the day.

Tours of the adjacent 200-acre San Joaquin Marsh will be offered at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Admission is $1 per person for nonmembers and free for children and Friends of the UCI Arboretum. The arboretum is just south of Campus Drive and Jamboree Road on the North Campus.
