January 20, 1998|BARBARA MURPHY

California Amplifier in Camarillo has announced several management appointments as part of a previously announced reorganization.

Dale DeHart, 45, has been named vice president of operations. The company also named executives to head its business unit organizations: Phil Cox, 58, will oversee wireless products; Robert Hannah, 37, will direct satellite products; and Kris Kelkar, 34, will head voice and data products.

Before joining California Amplifier, DeHart presided over his own manufacturing consulting practice, and from 1996 to 1997 was vice president of operations for Vixel Corp., a manufacturer of telecommunications products.

Before the reorganization, Cox was vice president of worldwide sales, Hannah was vice president of engineering and Kelkar was vice president of marketing. In conjunction with the reorganization, the board of directors named Cox, Hannah and DeHart executive officers of the company. Kelkar has been an executive officer since joining California Amplifier in April 1995.

California Amplifier designs and manufactures amplifiers, downconverters, antennas and integrated products used primarily to deliver multichannel television and voice and data communications.
