Here's a sampling of Super Bowl activities planned at local bars:

Bobby McGee's

* This is a regular hangout for Buffalo Bills fans. There's one big screen and six TVs. Food, appetizer and drink specials are planned. 107 South First St., Burbank; (818) 841-1935.

Casa Di Pizza

* They've been rooting for the Packers all season, so this West Hills eatery is fired up. It cost $15 for an all-you-can-eat meal that includes a pitcher of beer. 7543 Fallbrook Ave., West Hills; (818) 884-5923.

Clancy's Blue Whale Bar

* This Glendale bar has 10 TVs and will be selling Miller beer for $1.75 a pint. There's a $5.95 sandwich special. 219 N. Central, Glendale; (818) 242-2722.

Corbin Bowl Sports Lounge

Usually a meeting place for Chicago Bear fans, this Tarzana establishment is rooting for the Valley guy, John Elway. There will be free food, $1.50 for draft beer and bowling for those bored in the second half. There are 12 TVs. 19616 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana; (818) 996-2695.


* Fat turkey sandwiches and the coldest beverages around will be available at this Ventura bar. It has four TVs. 2855 Johnson Dr., Ventura; (805) 650-6026.

JJ's Grill

* This Encino bar with six TVs has a Sunday brunch for $8.95. Draft beer goes for $1.95 a mug. It opens at 10 a.m. Get there early because it was packed for the AFC and NFC championship games. 17200 Ventura Blvd., Encino; (818) 501-7600.

Matterhorn Chef

* For those who want to dine in elegance while watching the Super Bowl, this is the place. A big screen will be set up. You can munch on hot dogs or order from the regular menu. 13726 Oxnard St., Van Nuys; (818) 781-4330.

McGinty's Sports Bar

* With 27 TVs and two big screens, this Ventura bar is planning huge Super Bowl festivities. A bucket of beer will go for $6. There will be a special barbecue. 1795 South Victoria Ave., Ventura; (805) 658-7390.

P.C.'s Bar and Grille

Pineapple Hill Saloon and Grill

Sagebrush Cantina

* The motto of this Reseda bar is simple: "If you don't want to yell and scream, don't come here." There will be drink and food specials all day, from 60-ounce Super Bowl pitchers for $6.59 to Miller Lite specials for $1.99.
