Gospel Music Set for Calvary Church

A concert featuring the gospel groups Crimson River Quartet and Cross Road of Mission Viejo and the Big Country Boys quartet from Abilene, Texas, will take place at 7 p.m. at Calvary Church of Santa Ana. Admission is free. The church is at 1010 N. Tustin Ave, Tustin. Information: 973-4800.

A discussion of the book "My Word" by Vick Knight Jr. will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Community Congregational United Church of Christ of Los Alamitos. A "Come and Magnify the Lord!" Gospel Mass will be offered at 4 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month by the Center for Spiritual Development beginning Feb. 7.

John Flemming, professor emeritus at USC, will discuss "Affirmative Action as It Concerns the Business Community" during the Adult Forum from 9:35 to 10:25 a.m. Sunday at the United Methodist Church of Laguna Hills. The Jewish Federation of Orange County will have its annual fund-raising phone-athon to benefit Jewish community services from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
