Focusing on the cultural heritage of Asia and the Pacific Islands, the 21st annual Lotus Festival will be held July 11, noon-9 p.m., and July 12, noon-8 p.m., at Echo Park Lake, between Glendale and Echo Park boulevards in Los Angeles. * Fair. The Big Orange has gone pink: A 1940s theme for the 106th Orange County Fair July 10-26 will be dubbed "We're in the Pink."
