AMD, Motorola May Share Technology

July 20, 1998|Reuters

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. and Motorola Inc. are expected to unveil a strategic technology-sharing alliance today, with AMD expected to use Motorola's copper process technology to make faster chips, industry sources said.
