SANTA BARBARA--The 25th annual Greek Festival next weekend, Aug. 1-2, will have savories such as souvlaki, moussaka, dolmas and gyros. Other offerings: bouzouki music, Greek table dancing, dance lessons and Greek arts and crafts. 11 a.m.-7 p.m. both days. Oak Park, northbound on U.S. 101, exit at Pueblo Street. Free. SAN LUIS OBISPO--Follow the beat of Taiko drums to the Obon Festival next Saturday, Aug. 1, where visitors can treat themselves to everything from sushi to won ton; Japanese beer, sake and teas; Japanese and Chinese artwork; martial arts demonstrations; and a traditional Odori dance at 6 p.m. Festival hours 2-8 p.m. San Luis Obispo Veterans Memorial Hall, 801 Grand Ave. Free. FAIRFIELD--Next weekend's seventh annual Tomato Festival, Aug. 1-2, salutes the juicy fruit-turned-vegetable with exhibits, a farmers market, food, a tomato-eating contest, beer garden, entertainment, crafts booths and children's activities along Texas Street. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. both days. TRACY--Billed as the only bean festival in the U.S., the California Dry Bean Festival next weekend, Aug. 1-2, will include a best bean dish contest, bean-tasting pavilion, car and motorcycle shows, arts and crafts and entertainment by Up With People and other groups. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Aug. 1, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 2. 10th and Central streets, downtown.
