Spotlight: Yahoo and Ticketmaster Strike a Deal

Yahoo Inc., the No. 1 Internet directory, said a unit of West Hollywood-based Ticketmaster Group Inc. will provide information about concerts, entertainment events and a link to buy tickets on Yahoo's Web site. As part of the deal, Ticketmaster Multimedia Holdings Inc. will market Yahoo to its customers through its own Web site and direct mail inserts. Santa Clara-based Yahoo has been adding services to its Web site, in part to better compete with America Online Inc.
