A few of us hit the big-time: making it on TV or the big screen. For most, however, our stage was on campus. It's where we mixed butterflies with courage and came up with a recipe for stardom.
Some of our performances had music in mind, while showing our serious side. A concert at the Barclay Theater in Irvine showcased the "Stars of Tomorrow" featuring the University High orchestra and students from throughout the county. Actors at Fullerton Union High gathered in song for a presentation of "Sound of Music;" and "42nd Street" was on the playbill at Laguna Beach High. Not to be outdone, the Kennedy Singers from Kennedy High put on a song and dance review of their own, presenting "Songs of the Silver Screen."
