Digital Equipment Corp. was sued for $5 million by a former data-entry worker who claims she suffered repetitive-stress injuries while using its LK 201 BA keyboard. The suit, filed in New York State Supreme Court, is similar to one underway in a federal court in Brooklyn. One of the plaintiffs in that case was awarded $5.3 million in 1996, but a judge threw out that verdict after reviewing further evidence from DEC.
