Hearing Held for Shooting Suspect

The 14-year-old boy accused of opening fire in the hallway of his high school was ordered held in a juvenile detention center until a July 1 preliminary hearing. Quinshaw Booker, who will be tried as an adult, could be sentenced to up to 70 years in prison if convicted on all charges. Booker faces six felony counts in Monday's shooting at Armstrong High School in Richmond. A longtime basketball coach and a 74-year-old volunteer aide were wounded, neither seriously. Booker said nothing during the 10-minute hearing.
