According to L'Equipe, the French sports daily, Cameroon Coach Claude LeRoy insists that his players know the name of the referee in each game they play.

"It is perhaps a detail, but that gives an identity to the referee, and he respects a player who says to him, 'Sir, . . . ' and adds his name immediately afterward," LeRoy said.
