SMALL FACES: Fresh off his hit with Sting, Puff Daddy is working on another collaboration with a classic-rocker. He's teaming with Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page for a track for the "Godzilla" soundtrack that will incorporate elements of the Zep chestnut "Kashmir." . . .

Former Cult guitarist Billy Duffy and ex-Alarm leader Mike Peters have teamed with former Sisters of Mercy bassist Craig Adams in a new band, Colorsound, which will play the Viper Room on March 25 before flying to Hawaii to start an album with producer Bob Rock. . . .

Pistol Star, a band featuring former Grant Lee Buffalo bassist Paul Kimble and Mary's Danish singer Julie Ritter (now playing keyboards), has signed with London Records. Plans are to record the debut album in England.
