* Los Alamitos vs. Esperanza, Yorba Linda Country Club, 2:30 today: Second-ranked Los Alamitos (5-0) opens its Sunset League season against its top league rival, eighth-ranked Esperanza (7-1). The match will be a rematch of last year's Sunset League singles championship between Los Alamitos' Cody Jackson and Esperanza's Tom Lloyd. Jackson defeated Lloyd last year and went on to reach the round of 16 in section individual play. Jackson has a sore groin that he pulled during a match against Garden Grove Friday, but Los Alamitos Coach Geoff Carter said Jackson will play today.
