Cancer Therapy Guide Gets an Update

"Everyone's Guide to Cancer Therapy" (Revised Third Edition) By Malin Dollinger, MD, Ernest H. Rosenbaum, MD, and Greg Cable, Andrews McMeel Publishing, $19.95, 824 pages

March 30, 1998|SHARI ROAN

This popular book was first published in 1991 and continues to be a good addition to home libraries. It's very consumer-friendly. For example, there are sections explaining the various "stages" of tumors in a way that is easy to understand. Another section on pain management would be of great benefit to anyone undergoing cancer treatment. Throughout the book, readers will find sections titled "The most important questions you can ask." These alone make the book worth buying.
