Danielle Turner broke up Wetzel's no-hit bid with a single up the middle with two out in the bottom of the seventh.

Karen Tobin and Michelle Barraza each had three hits for Notre Dame (13-11-1, 3-5). Tobin had four RBIs, including a two-run home run.

Thousand Oaks 4, Newbury Park 2--Kim Martin had two hits and three RBIs for the Lancers (14-7-1, 8-4) in a Marmonte League victory at Thousand Oaks.

Martin doubled home two runs in the fourth and broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring single in the sixth.

Kristin Combe added two hits and two runs for Thousand Oaks, which moved past Newbury Park (18-7, 7-5) into third place in the standings.

Oxnard 3, San Marcos 2--Allison Cordes hit a game-winning single for the Yellowjackets in the fifth inning of a Channel League victory at Oxnard.

Tina Samaniego, who scored on Cordes' single, hit a run-scoring triple to tie the game earlier in the fifth for Oxnard (9-4, 6-5).

Littlerock 9, Antelope Valley 0--Lynn Olson pitched a two-hitter with four strikeouts for the Lobos (8-10, 2-6) in a Golden League victory at Littlerock.

Carrie Miller drove in two runs with two hits and Alison Gorny had a two-run double and a run-scoring single for Littlerock.

La Reina 13, Carpinteria 1--Lindsey Mettam had three hits and three RBIs in a Tri-Valley League game at La Reina.

Chrissy Odre scored three runs and had three RBIs for La Reina (22-2, 8-0).

Village Christian 28, Marshall 0--Laura Robbins hit three home runs and drove in nine runs in an Alpha League game at Marshall.

Robbins hit homers in the first, second and fourth innings and has six this season for the Crusaders (20-2, 6-0).

Jaclyn Aranda (19-1) struck out 14 and allowed two hits in pitching her 13th shutout this season.

L.A. Baptist 12, Maranatha 6--Jillian Rice had three hits and four RBIs, including a solo home run to lead off an eight-run seventh inning for L.A. Baptist in an Alpha League game at Maranatha.

Rice also had a two-run double in the seventh to cap the scoring.

Cyndi Shaw and Anni Iverson each had two hits and two RBIs for L.A. Baptist (14-5, 5-1).
