November 05, 1998|JAMES MEIER

A Tustin store will be invaded by the Costa Mesa Air National Guard and the Orange County Rescue Mission on Saturday as the two groups team up to combat hunger among homeless children.

The Costa Mesa-based Air Force component of the California National Guard will collect nonperishable canned foods that will be distributed to Orange County's homeless children on Thanksgiving.

The event will take place at Costco, 2655 El Camino Real, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
