Who's Hot

November 10, 1998

Boston center Dmitri Khristich, who had five points--two goals and three assists--Sunday and had six points in his last three games.

Montreal right wing Mark Recchi. He had three goals, all on the power play, and three assists in two games last week. The Canadiens defeated the Rangers, 4-1, and the Islanders, 4-2, ending an 0-3-1 slump. Their offensive output in those games was their best since they scored seven in their season opener.

Nashville winger Sergei Krivokrasov, who has seven goals in 12 games. He had 10 last season in 58 games with the Blackhawks.

Who's Not

The Chicago Blackhawks, who are 0-5-1. Coach Dirk Graham and assistant coach Denis Savard reportedly are feuding, which can't help the team or the atmosphere.

Colorado goalie Patrick Roy. He has been playing better the last few weeks than he did in the first few, but the Avalanche has run into several hot goalies, so he's only 2-7-1. His goals-against average is 3.39 and his save percentage is .871.

The Toronto Maple Leafs' power play. The Leafs are a league-worst five for 68 (7.4%) with a man advantage and have capitalized on only one of their last 31 opportunities.
