Pregame Show: On Friday nights, I enjoy eating at Sushi Mon on 3rd Street. It seems to be the most laid-back and unpretentious sushi restaurant I've found in L.A. An ideal Friday night would also include a Kings game. My friends and I have season tickets.
Postgame Show: A quick cocktail of vanilla Stoli, ginger ale and a twist of lime at my absolute favorite bar comes next. I would mention my absolute favorite bar, which is on Fairfax, but it's already too crowded. And, like most people, I hold my favorite bar close to my heart. I like to end Friday--and get an early start on Saturday--with a midnight movie at the Sunset 5 theaters in West Hollywood.
Eat, Shop, Eat: Saturday begins with breakfast at Kokomo's in the Farmers Market. The eggs Lafayette and andouille sausage are yummy! Afterward, it's off to the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. I seem to spend a lot of time shopping for books and clothing, and I always seem to walk away with something from Urban Outfitters. For lunch or dinner, Tito's Tacos in West L.A. is great. It's quick, tasty and greasy!
