The Capistrano Unified School District Board of Trustees agreed last week to apply for a grant that would help buy recycled tire material to go under new playground equipment at Foxborough Elementary School. The $7,350 grant from the California Integrated Waste Management Board would allow the district to pay for half of the $14,700 cost to put in recycled tire material. The Foxborough PTA is buying the new playground equipment for its school.
