A 6-foot guard, Murphy had 11 points in the season opener at Kansas State and 16 against San Diego State Saturday. He is eight of nine on free throws and five of 12 on three-point shots. He shot 51% from three-point range last season for Glendale.

Fullerton defeated San Diego State in its home opener Saturday to even its record at 1-1. Ike Harmon returned to the lineup after missing the season-opening loss at Kansas State.
