Women's soccer

Browning, a senior from Lakewood, scored both goals in a 2-0 victory over UC Santa Barbara Friday, then had a goal and an assist in a 2-2 tie with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on Sunday.

In Sunday's game, Browning received a mild concussion in overtime and had to sit out the rest of the game. Browning has a team-leading 12 goals for the season.


Men's soccer: The Titans (7-3-1) begin their Mountain Pacific Sports Assn. season this week at home against Sacramento State at 7 p.m. Friday and UCLA (9-1, 2-0) at 4 p.m. Sunday. UCLA won the national championship last year after losing to Fullerton in the regular season, 3-1.

Women's soccer: Fullerton is at Pacific Thursday and at Long Beach State at 1 p.m. Sunday. Fullerton (5-7-1, 2-1-1 in conference) defeated UC Santa Barbara, 2-0, Friday but Sunday settled for a 2-2 tie against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, 3-0-3 in the conference.

Women's volleyball: Last weekend the Titans were beaten by two top teams, top-ranked Long Beach State and ninth-ranked Pacific. Fullerton meets Nevada Friday and Utah State Saturday, both matches at 7 p.m. in Titan Gym.

Cross-country: The men's and women's teams, idle last weekend, will compete in the UC San Diego Invitational Saturday. The meet begins at 9 a.m. at the UCSD campus in La Jolla.
