Reseda residents, business owners and school officials will begin a series of neighborhood discussions Monday intended to increase cultural awareness and ease ethnic tensions.
About 15 people have been selected to participate in four two-hour sessions this month, said Janine Prado of the Los Angeles Commission for Children, Youth and Families, one of the organizers. The discussion plan began when Reseda residents organized by the commission said they wanted to know each other better, Prado said.
