Glendale 22, Pierce 12--Quarterback Michael Frost led the Vaqueros (2-4, 1-1) with two rushing touchdowns and a touchdown pass in a WSC Southern Division game at Glendale High.

Frost completed 10 of 22 for 124 yards and one touchdown and ran for scores of four and two yards. Frost's two-yard sneak early in the fourth quarter iced the victory.

Pierce quarterback Calvin Zinck completed 24 of 47 for 276 yards and two touchdowns. His 59-yard touchdown to Basil Duncantell early in the third quarter pulled the Brahmas within 16-6. Duncantell caught nine passes for 140 yards and a touchdown.

Glendale's leading rusher was Saul Harris, who had 90 yards in 18 carries. Donald Carpenter rushed 13 times for 46 yards for Pierce.

Glendale took a 16-0 lead into the fourth quarter. Steve Haaf caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from Frost three minutes into the game, Sean Doyle kicked a 30-yard field goal and Frost ran for a four-yard touchdown.
