Eight Man

L.A. Lutheran 47, First Lutheran 0--Chuck Crable scored three touchdowns and passed for a fourth, and Jorden Andersen added a pair of long touchdown runs for the Lions (3-3, 2-2) in a Heritage League game at L.A. Lutheran.

Crable, who rushed six times for 32 yards, scored on runs of one and five yards and returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown. He also threw a five-yard touchdown pass to Ernie Azpeitia.

Andersen rushed for 141 yards in 12 carries and scored on runs of 50 and 41 yards.

Azpeitia made 15 tackles, eight of them solo.

Grace Brethren 43, Viewpoint 14--Robert Serra passed for three touchdowns and rushed for a fourth for host Grace Brethren (4-2, 4-0) in a Heritage League game.

Serra completed eight of 17 passes for 151 yards, and rushed four times for 84 yards.

The Lancers contained running back Sherwin Shilati of Viewpoint (4-1, 3-1) to 119 yards in 25 carries. Jackson Beauchamp had 19 tackles and one interception for Grace Brethren.

Greg Reynolds had 16 tackles and Tyson Larson added 13 tackles.

Freshman Steve McClain rushed nine times for 105 yards. Shawn McClain had two 25-yard scoring receptions for the Lancers.

Faith Baptist 61, South Bay Lutheran 12--Julio Bautista completed nine of 13 passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns for the host Contenders (6-0, 4-0) in a Heritage league game.
