It's four different regional Italian wines with a four-course Italian dinner at the first in Fabio Trattoria's series of wine dinners. Wine experts from Young's Market Co. will be on hand to explain the wines and answer questions. To start, artichoke heart salad with haricots verts, shaved Parmesan and black truffles is paired with 1996 Il Tasso Orvieto. The fish course is risotto with sea bass and thyme, paired with 1996 Cornaria Arneis. The main course is beef medallions in a Brunello sauce, accompanied by 1993 Val Di Suga Brunello Montalcino. Dessert is caramelized figs with vanilla custard, served with 1995 Antinori "Muffato."
