In Kevin Thomas' review of "Cannibal! The Musical" (" 'Cannibal!' Filled With Bits of Uneven Hilarity," Oct. 16), he was very nice to mention me as being "the pretty Toddy Walters who played Polly Plye, surely a reference to newspaper legend Nellie Bly."
However, the character's name is Polly Pry, who was an actual historical character who saved Alferd Packer from being hanged. She was the first female reporter to work at the Denver Post in the 1860s.
